Dutton Social Care are currently working in partnership with an organisation who are looking for a passionate, driven, hardworking and dedicated senior care assistant to join their team and work on days.
The home itself is a 46 bedded residential service for adults with dementia and additional care needs. The service has recently gone through a massive refurbishment project and looks very welcoming and homely. The team are friendly and passionate and are looking for someone with experience as a senior to run the day shift in conjunction with the deputy and home manager. You will be responsible for running the shift, overseeing 6-7 care staff, co-ordinating resident appointments with healthcare professionals, family and GP's plus ensuring all of the residents in the home are well looked after, comfortable and safe. You will need to have experience as a senior care assistant and have a minimum of your Level 2 in Health and social care. Full induction will be given, access to further training and your Level 3 in health and social care and support with career development from the manager. The role is to work 37.5 hours per week and will be a mixture of 7-2.30pm and 2.30-10pm, if you prefer to work long 12 hours shifts this is something that can be discussed at interview.
